Natal Reading:
In this reading, my mission is to interpret the Natal Chart and guide you through the understanding of the archetypes at play in your life. As a teaching astrologer, my style is not to dazzle you and make you say “how did you know that?! Have you been digging through my trash?” But instead to help you learn what energies are active in your life – and what you can do to best utilize your gifts and minimize your challenges.
In our session, we’re going to delve into the many facets of your personality as symbolized by the planets. We’ll examine the life areas that your chart emphasizes, (the astrological houses). We’ll also explore the central social or psychological dynamics that are apparent in your chart and see how your life’s potential has been developing.
This reading will be sent via email in video format along with a PDF of your chart and key take-aways.
Forecasting Reading:
This reading will take you on a journey to the future and reveal the themes that are emerging in your life. We will use Transits (including eclipses), Progressions / Solar Arc and the Solar Return chart to analyze any pertinent upcoming influences. As an astrologer, my role is to assist you in getting ready and coping with the potentially difficult periods — and to alert you of any possible opportunities that might arise.
Please keep in mind that nothing is set in stone and the planetary energies can manifest in various forms. By looking at a variety of predictive methods, we can’t necessarily know the future…but we can get a better idea of what’s to come.
This reading will cover a 1-year time span. This reading will be sent via email in video format along with a PDF containing key dates.
Technical Details: About my readings
*I use the tropical zodiac and am most well versed in Western astrology. In the United Sates where I am based, Western psychological tinged astrology is the most accessible. This is where I’ve picked up the most information along my journey. However, I would describe myself as an “eclectic astrologer”. I have picked up bits and pieces of astrological knowledge from various schools of thought and have had many different teachers.
*My preferred house system is Porphyry, simply because:
1)I like old things — things that have stood the test of time.
2)We don’t see the wild interceptions and duplicated signs at extreme latitudes when using Porphyry.
3)Porphyry has been the most accurate – in my experience.
On occasion, I will use other house systems or combine house systems. This is where I tend to use my intuition. Many of the charts used for public analysis – here on my website – were drawn using Polich-Page. I frequently use Equal Houses or Whole signs for charts with no birth times.
*I use both traditional and modern rulers but put more emphasis on the traditional ruler
*I am not averse to asteroids but as a rule, I will not reference them unless they are in a tight aspect – or if you ask about them prior to the reading.
*If you’ve perused this site, you’ll see that I’m a big fan of midpoints!
*And finally – I am not a super-spiritual guru wannabe type of astrologer. I’m not a psychologist and don’t pretend to be! I know that if you’re seeking out a reading, you probably have concerns about your life’s direction. I’ve been there and can empathize. Hard times in my personal life are the reason I initially immersed myself in astrology! My style is straightforward – but compassionate.
No Birth Time? No Problem
While a chart with a birth time is going to produce – by far – the best results when it comes to prediction, we can still glean a lot of info from charts with no birth time.
There are a couple methods that astrologers will work with when a birth time is unavailable:
- Chart Rectification: The astrologer looks at several different events in your life and plays detective to determine a likely birth time. A rectification from a specialist is the very best option but it can be pricey because it is extremely time-consuming.
- Placing the Sun on the Ascendant. This is referred to as a “Sunrise Chart”. Houses are derived from the Sun. This is how most (Western) horoscopes are calculated. I’ve seen really good results setting up the chart this way and it is my preferred method to work with.
- Placing the Moon on the Ascendant and using Whole Signs. Many Vedic astrologers calculate horoscopes using the Moon to derive the houses. This only really works if you can be sure of what the Moon sign is.
- Putting the birth time as Noon. This is the worst option – in my opinion. All that this does is put the moon at the middle of its range for the date in question.
If you can afford it, you should most definitely consult with a chart rectification specialist prior to getting a reading – no matter who it is that you intend to have your chart read by!

What to expect from a reading with me:
Upon payment, you will be provided with a new client intake form to fill out and return to me. Once I receive it, I will email you back to confirm the details.
I will thoroughly examine your chart and take notes.
I will then record a screenshare video in which I explain the various elements of your chart. You get to see your chart from my point of view!
Your information is kept 100% confidential. I will not share anything about you or your chart with anyone for any reason.
I have a “handling” time of 5 business days. You will receive your reading within those 5 days. I will do my best to get it to you sooner rather than later, but I do have a “day job”, so I’ll have to work around that.
After you’ve received your reading, I will follow up with you to answer any questions you may have
