New Research into Jupiter-Lilith Aspects

After my last post, I’ve continued to contemplate Jupiter-Lilith aspects and their relation to homicide victims. This post is the culmination of my research (so far) into the Jupiter-Lilith-Murder phenomenon.

Methodology:

I am looking for:

1. Natal aspects between Lilith and Jupiter.
2. Transit aspects between Lilith and Jupiter, particularly when tied to a natal placement.
3. Transits of Jupiter to natal Lilith and Transits of Lilith to natal Jupiter.
4. If it’s easy to see, I will use the Jupiter-Lilith midpoint (transiting and natal)

Aspects used: All aspects that are easy to find visually. Conjunction, Opposition, Square, Trine, Sextile, Semi-sextile, and Quincunx (also referred to as “Inconjunct”).

The aspects all have tight orbs. Usually no greater than 3 degrees (5 for conjunctions). If it’s a wider orb, I will indicate it in the notes.

Subjects: I am using charts found on Astro Databank under the category “Homicide Victim”. I am going in Alphabetical order, only skipping charts with dubious Rodden Ratings. Or charts that require conversion between Julian and Gregorian. If there are connections that meet the criteria, I’m putting the names in bold.

Murder Victims with Lilith-Jupiter Aspects

1.Jennifer Abbott (Poisoned by husband)– No apparent connections.

2.Shinzo Abe (Japanese politician, assassinated)– Transit Lilith square Transit Jupiter. T Jupiter square to Natal Lilith.

3. Al Adamson (horror filmmaker, MURDERED by a contractor and buried under concrete on his own property) – Lilith inconjunct Jupiter natal. Other Lilith connections

4. Aleksandar 1 King of Serbia (assassinated)– Transit Lilith sextile natal Jupiter. Transit Jupiter trine Jupiter.

5. James Alenson (teen killed by peer)– Natal Lilith-Uranus conjunction semi-sextiled by Transit Jupiter and squared by Transit Lilith. Transit Jupiter conjunct ASC and sextile transit Lilith.

6. King of Yugoslavia Alexander 1 (assassinated)– No apparent connections

7. Alexander 2 Czar of Russia (assassinated)– Natal inconjunct (weak), other Lilith connections

8. Travis Alexander (Murdered by Jodi Arias)– No apparent connections. Other interesting Lilith and Jupiter aspects.

9. Alexandra Czarina of Russia (Entire Romanov Family executed)– Loose natal conjunction including Uranus

10. Alexei Czarevitch (Entire Romanov Family executed)– T Lilith to Neptune. T Pluto conjunct Neptune. Jupiter sextile Jupiter

11. Sandra Allard (cold case, stabbed and set on fire)– Jupiter sextile Jupiter. Lilith to Mars

12. Gregory Allaria (shot to death by mother in murder/suicide)– natal Conjunction with transits Neptune and mercury opposing. T Lilith has multiple aspects to other planets
13. Matthieu Allaria (shot to death by mother in murder/suicide)– Lilith square Lilith. T Chiron conjunction Lilith. T Lilith sextile N jupiter.
14. Richard W Allen (Teacher, shot by a student in 1988)– Exact Natal t square: Sun with Mars/Lilith/Jupiter. Transit Lilith aspects natal t square. T Jupiter conjunct Uranus

18. King of Thailand Ananda Mahidol – (Assassinated)No apparent connection. Natal Lilith is conjunct to both Natal Ceres and North Node.
19. Albert Anastasia – (Italian Mobster, gunned down) Transit Lilith inconjunct Transit Jupiter. Both closely aspecting natal Venus and Natal Chiron.
20. Grand Duchess Anastasia (Entire Romanov family executed)– Natal Jupiter opposes Natal Venus. Transit Lilith squares both. Transit Jupiter trine natal Lilith.
21. Berisford Anderson (Police officer, shot to death over a traffic dispute)– Transit Lilith trine natal Jupiter.
22. Theresa Andrews (pregnant, disemboweled by a woman who wanted her baby)– Natal Lilith and Jupiter conjunction (out of sign). Transit Saturn conjunct to it. Nodal square with Transit Lilith conjunct transit South Node. Transit Lilith also squares the Sun.
23. Benigno Aquino – (Assassinated) Natal Lilith Trine Natal Jupiter with transit Mercury conjunct Jupiter. Transit Lilith inconjunct natal Jupiter
24. Jose Roberto Arantes de Almeida – (Brazillian activist, killed by his government) – Natal Lilith-Jupiter Conjunction. Transit Lilith conjunct transit Uranus squares Natal Jupiter-Lilith
25. Domingo Arenas – (Mexican Revolutionary, murdered) Wide natal opposition between Lilith and Jupiter with transit Uranus square to both.

17 out of 25 (68%) had some sort of Jupiter-Lilith connection at the time of their murder. While this might not be super significant statistically – it’s significant enough for me, as an astrologer. There are so many different transits that we can associate with violent death – to see Lilith in aspect to Jupiter 68% of the time is actually kind of amazing given all the other aspects we might expect.

As much as I’m convinced that Lilith-Jupiter connections can be related to murder, I need to look at other groups as well to see how often these aspects occur under different sorts of circumstances.

Group A: Astro databank category: long life.

For this category, I’m not as concerned with Natal connections between Jupiter and Lilith, unless there is a transit planet activating such a connection.

Similarly, if transit Lilith is in aspect to transit Jupiter, this doesn’t mean anything unless they are in aspect to a natal planet.

The event I’m looking at here is the date of death

3. Anne Lise Aas – Transit Lilith square natal Jupiter

6. Marta Abba – Transit Lilith square natal Jupiter. Transit Jupiter trine natal Lilith
7. Marcello Abbado – Wide orb yod between Transit Lilith sextile Natal Jupiter with Natal Lilith at apex.
8. Nicola Abbagnano – Natal Lilith sextile Natal Jupiter. Transit Jupiter square NLilith. Transit Jupiter trine Transit Lilith.
9. Ferhat Abbas – Transit Jupiter opposite Natal Lilith
10. Robert K Abbett – Very wide conjunction between natal Lilith and Transit Jupiter (7*is a little too large an orb for my standards…so, I’m not counting it)
11. Delila Abbott – Wide natal conjunction of Lilith and Jupiter. (5*). Transit Lilith exact sextile to natal Jupiter.
12. Isabella Abbott – Natal Jupiter trine natal Lilith. Transiting Jupiter/Lilith midpoint creates a grand trine to natal Jupiter and Lilith.

10 out of 12 people (a whopping 83%!!) had Lilith-Jupiter connections at the time of their deaths. These deaths occurred in old age and can (for the most part) be attributed to “natural causes”. The vast majority (7 out of 10) of these aspects are trines and sextiles.

(I have only looked at 12 charts here because the aspect kept showing up in chart after chart. To keep looking seemed like a waste of time!)

Group B: Happy Marriages

For this category, the “normal rules” apply. Again, the natal aspect isn’t considered unless it is being aspected by a transiting planet. I’m still going in alphabetical order, and am only using charts with an exact date of marriage. If there is no exact date of marriage, I’m skipping the person. I’m going to look at 13 charts.

1. Akihito, Emporer of Japan (Married March 10^th 1959) – No apparent connections
2. Albert, Prince Consort of UK (Married Feb 10^th 1840) – Natal Opposition between Lilith and Jupiter with Transit Juno square to both.
3. Louis Armstorng (Married October 12 1942) – Transit Lilith opposite natal Jupiter
4. Lauren Bacall (Married: May 21 1945) – Transit Jupiter square natal Lilith
5. Pearl Bailey (Married: Nov 19 1952) – No apparent connections (T Lilith and natal Lilith are exactly semi-sextile though)
6. Helen Gurley Brown (Married: Sept 25^th 1959) – Transit Lilith square natal Lilith
7. Elizabeth Barrett-Browning (Married: Sept 12 1846) – Transit Lilith Inconjunct Natal Lilith
8. Robert Browning (Married: Sept 12 1846) – Natal square between Lilith and Jupiter.
9. Rosalynn Carter (Marriage: July 7^th 1946) – Transit Jupiter exact conjunction Natal Lilith.
10. Jimmy Carter (Marriage: July 7^th 1946) – Transit Jupiter trine natal Lilith
11. Una Chiodini (Marriage: June 22 1957) – Lilith trine Lilith
12. Christo Vladimirov Javacheff (Marriage: Nov 28^th 1959): Transit Lilith opp Transit Jupiter with T Lilith conjunct natal Chiron and square natal Saturn.
13. Dwight D Eisenhower (Marriage: July 1^st 1916): No apparent Jupiter-Lilith connections.

Here, we see a lot less connections than in the previous two groups.

6 out of 13 charts have a Jupiter-Lilith connection. This is about 46%

4 out of 6 are squares and oppositions. How might we look at the symbolism of Lilith in hard aspect to Jupiter when it comes to marriage?

Lilith =baser instincts

Jupiter=morality, religion, the law.

Marriage is a contract in which one traditionally gives up their sexual freedom. We could say it’s one’s moral, legal, or religious duty to do so, and on some level, can create a certain amount of friction.

Closing remarks:

Looking at the data so far, it appears that Jupiter-Lilith aspects occur more frequently in charts having to do with death – whether it’s a homicide or a “natural” death. In the murder charts, Uranus was frequently in on the action. “Soft aspects” (trines and sextiles) were less common in murder charts, and seen more frequently in the “old age death” charts.

In the marriage charts, I noticed Transit Lilith aspects to Natal Lilith at least 4 times. So this is kind of interesting and perhaps worthy of further research. In death charts (of all kinds) I frequently saw Transit Jupiter in exact aspect to its natal position.

The results of this “study” are certainly interesting, but they are not conclusive for me. I feel that this will be an ongoing research project. I have had the thought that I should look at random dates for my next set of “subjects”. Theoretically, a random date should have less transit activity than a date corresponding to a major event in ones life…
