Jupiter Semi Square Neptune

On the one hand, this transit can inspire a sense of hope and optimism. However, this very optimism may ultimately end up challenging our faith due to our unrealistic expectations. Have you ever held a sketchy person to their word, thinking that “this time they’ll come through and do what’s expected of them”? This is the sort of energy we’re facing with this transit.  

During this time, there’s a heightened risk of being misled or deceived. Our tendency to see others and the world in a more flattering light can potentially set us up for disappointment– or worse! We should be cautious, as our generous perception of people and situations could make us vulnerable to exploitation.

On a mundane level, we might see an increase in self-styled gurus who are really just con artists. Religious fanaticism can make headlines.

We can see a challenge to the established order when it comes to religious institutions, education, or political systems.  

We can see Jupiter ruled people (Clergy, Politicians, Judges, Educators) embroiled in scandals or making lofty promises.

As a minor friction aspect, the 45 degree semi-square, is easier to “solve” than the 90-degree square as the energies are (usually) going to be occurring in complimentary signs. This can mitigate some of the tension and aid in a smoother flow of energy. We can think of semi squares as presenting a problem with easy to implement solutions – whereas solving the tension of a full 90-degree square tends to present a continuous flow of new problems for every solution implemented.
