I’m currently working on a study into wealth – with a focus on women.
The idea is to figure out which aspects and midpoint pictures show up the most in the charts of obscenely wealthy women – versus the “poor” (or ordinary) earners.
So far, I’ve looked at the charts of 7 wealthy women, and 8 ordinary women. I have a list of 28 (each category) to go through. Not a huge sample, but I believe it is large enough to yield interesting results.
Preliminary data suggests that women with higher wealth have a slightly higher incidence of overall wealth indicators. (About 14.5 on average compared to 13.8 for women with lower wealth). They also have a lower percentage of difficult aspects making up these wealth indicators. (23% of their indicators are challenging, versus 29% for women with lower wealth).

I’m using aspects and midpoints which are said to be indicative of wealth — as well as aspects that have to do with “working hard”. The women on my “wealthy list” are considered by Forbes to be “self-made”. I might disagree with a few of them…but nonetheless, some of them went from being born into privilege to GREATLY surpassing their inherited wealth. There are also quite a few rags-to-riches ladies on the list.
It’s my current belief that becoming wealthy certainly comes at cost, but there is also a degree of good fortune, “fate” or “luck” involved.
I’ve included very particular Saturn aspects and midpoints that are related to working harder.
- Sun-Saturn: Hard aspects will generally indicate having to struggle with one’s ambitions, to have a mature or responsible attitude. With the square and opposition there can be issues around one’s hard work being seen and acknowledged. These people are the ones who bust their asses in the workplace, taking on extra burdens while their less productive colleague gets the promotion. With the quincunx, the person may misplace their energy, focusing on the “wrong” ambitions. Or the acknowledgment they receive from their superiors might be for the wrong reasons. Flowing aspects also suggest responsibility – but things come a bit easier. Challenges are met with a bit more ease rather than the “one step forward, two steps back” situation that seems to plague those with difficult Sun-Saturn aspects. With the trine and sextile, “superiors” can be more helpful
- Mars-Saturn is very similar to Sun-Saturn, but there’s more force attached. With the hard aspects, the person can be too forceful and aggressive – or be faced with hostility from others. The flowing aspects indicate more ease – they are viewed as “assertive” rather than aggressive. All aspects indicate having a great amount of stamina
- Saturn-Venus: The hard aspects typically indicate a struggle with value, warmth, and comfort. They might have issues with their social and romantic life, perhaps coming across as “cold” or uncaring. Or they fail to elicit a warm response from others for some reason. There can be issues with self-esteem, body image, and just feeling valuable in general. Flowing aspects suggest the older people and authority figures can be favorably disposed to the person in question. All aspects indicate that the person is highly motivated by their needs for comfort and value.
All Saturn aspects imply a sense of seriousness and focus towards meeting the needs of the planet being aspected, which is why I felt they should be included in a study on wealth.
This study will test whether my beliefs on wealth have any merit.
Because of the depth and complexity of this study, I’m thinking I will publish it in an eBook format. I haven’t worked out the details of that yet…but watch for it!
