Mars quincunx Chiron:

Mars inconjunct (or quincunx) to Chiron is a disparate aspect as the signs that each planet are occupying will typically have no commonality. This aspect can make us question how well we are handling our aggressive instincts. Do we “blow up” and act destructively when we’re angry? Or do we cower in a corner, allowing others to walk all over us? We might have to adjust our actions and our sense of self-esteem to see the results we want.

On a mundane level, this aspect can show up when there are wars or other violent events born out of unresolved traumas.

It can call into question just how far law enforcement or the military should go regarding force. (As an example, Mars was semi sextile to Chiron on the very day of the George Floyd police brutality event in 2020. The semi-sextile is NOT a gentle, “flowing” aspect, in my opinion. It is very similar to the Quincunx)

It can show that “Our Leaders” lack courage or display feelings of uncertainty in the face of a crisis. We might observe a sort of impotence or hesitancy in our leaders at a time when we need them to act.
